Today, June 1st, is International Children's Day. One of Lady Diana's path in life was precisely the care and protection of children worldwide. Despite the fact she is no longer with us, we all carry her in our hearts!
Representatives of the "Lady Diana" Foundation for Iraq report that humanitarian conditions in the city of Fallujah, which has been under the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) for 2 years, are worsening.
Fallujah was totally besieged by the Iraqi army and its allies on February 2, 2016 as a result of which the supply lines outside the city, supplying the civilian population with food and aid, were interrupted .

Geneva, 2 February 2016 – For the first time since the start of the refugee and migrant crisis in Europe, there are more children and women on the move than adult males.
Children and women now make up nearly 60 percent of refugees and migrants crossing the border from Greece to Gevgelija in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Children currently account for 36 percent of those risking the treacherous sea crossing between Greece and Turkey. This figure could be higher however as many children do not declare their age until they have reached their destination.
"Lady Diana" Foundation sends our condolences to the families affected by the unfortunate events that have taken place there. It's saddening to see that peoples' lives have become so cheap to some and shocking to see the depths some go to, to mass murder. Amen!
